Nakoma is located in Eastern Plumas County, a scenic 45-minute drive north of Truckee-Tahoe and an hour northwest of the Reno-Tahoe International Airport.

I-80 east to Truckee
Take exit 188A from I-80 east
– Turn left onto Donner Pass Rd/Truckee Way
Turn right onto CA-89 north
Follow CA-89 N to Portola McLears Rd in Gold Mountain
Inn at Nakoma will be on your left
