FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE

Job Summary: Front Desk staff are often the first to greet resort guests. As such, their job is to be welcoming, efficient and informative. The job requires the ability to handle a wide variety of situations calmly and professionally. Strong computer skills are required. At a minimum, solid proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to master new software quickly. Prior use of resort-wide software is a bonus. Candidates must have an above average ability to read, write and use proper grammar and spelling to compose messages/correspondence as required. Front Desk staff handle all guest registration tasks, offer information and advice regarding resort amenities, area features and activities, and provide an exceptional level of service to guests.

DRAGON GOLF COURSE STAFF

GOLF PRO, PRO SHOP ATTENDANT, CART ATTENDANT, GREENSKEEPERS

Job Responsibilities (Will vary slightly based on position):
1. Must get along well with others;
2. Greets guests, provide prompt, courteous and friendly customer service;
3. Manages reservation system, checks guests in, collects fees, and assigns tee times; informs players of course rules and regulation, maintains logs;
4. Organizes schedules and maintains operations for the driving range;
5. Assists guests with all their needs while in the pro shop;  ensures complaints are dealt with in a pleasant manner and recorded;
6. Maintains records of daily play on golf course and maintaining other data;
7. Records and documents any safety hazards or other important situations immediately to supervisor;
8. Handling monetary transactions, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change;
9. Maintains the pro shop environment by keeping the shop neat and orderly by general housekeeping duties:  cleans inside and outside facilities;
10. May be required to work early mornings, evenings, holidays or weekends as needed;
11. Answers phones, direct calls, and answer member/guest questions professionally. Updates and maintains automated data management systems and review input for accuracy; Performs administrative duties such as updating various reports and records, updating information in department databases and spreadsheets, preparing routine correspondence, and any other administrative duties as assigned;
12. Follows procedures for proper opening and closing of pro shop and other golf areas;
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
 
GREENSKEEPER

1. Operates mowers and string trimmers in all areas of golf course; rakes and maintains sand bunkers;

2. Maintains fuel and fluid levels for all types of equipment on a daily basis; reports equipment problems to equipment manager immediately;

3. Helps in project work; assists in the construction of new greens, tees and fairways; grades and prepares soil base; lays sod; and seeds tees, greens, fairways;
4. Excavates and backfills ditches and trenches with hand tools or trencher, repairs and replaces pipe on irrigation systems.
5. Keeps grounds and shop area clean and organized;
6. Must be able to operate all fairway, rough and perimeter mowers, as well as all specialized golf course maintenance equipment;
7. Assists Chemical Technician in applying chemicals and fertilizers, as needed;’
8. Aerate and topdress greens, tees, and fairways.
9. Sets tee markers and cups, maintains ball washers, replaces tees, towels, and flags when needed; sands and seeds tee and drop area divots, and cleans flowerbeds.

KITCHEN STAFF

Job Summary: The purpose of the position is to prepare exceptional menu items for resort guests and Members. Be willing to execute the menu, ensuring a high level of performance, guest satisfaction and profitability.  Guest satisfaction revolves around the food appearance, high quality of the food and overall dining experience. 
 
Job Responsibilities (Will vary with position):
1. Must get along well with others;
2. Prepare food, produce food consistently with high quality, taste and presentation and expedite during peak meal periods as needed;
3. Use the proper methods of food preparation and handling, and handling leftover food items;
4. Strict adherence to health department sanitation and food handling guidelines;
5. Utilize kitchen tools and equipment as designed, ensuring safety at all times;
6. Take direction from a variety of supervisors and respond to input quickly and with enthusiasm;
7. Interact positively with Front of House staff, creating a cooperative environment;

FRONT OF HOUSE STAFF

Job Summary: The purpose of all Front of House positions is to interact with restaurant guests and ensure they have an exceptional experience when dining at the resort. Staff must be attentive to guest needs and make guests feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.

Job Responsibilities (Will vary slightly based on position):
1. Must get along well with others;
2. Prepare the tables, laying out napkins and utensils, making sure the condiments are refilled, performing all other preparation tasks;
3. Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any times, etc.;
4. Handle the table bookings, direct customers to their tables, presenting menus, suggestion dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing customers about food preparation details, communicating specific customer needs to the cooks;
5. Maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses;
6. Delivering food efficiently to diners;
7. Prepare mixed drinks for service to your customers’ table;
8. Properly open and pour wine at the tableside;
9. Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change;
10. Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor;
11. Assisting with special events as needed;
12. Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently;
13. Must have some familiarity with basic cooking skills;
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
