Somewhere Between
work & play.

Nakoma Resort is a rapidly growing oasis of beauty and tranquility in the heart of the Lost Sierra. We work hard and then we play hard in this incredible outdoor recreationist’s paradise where mountain biking, hiking, swimming in alpine lakes or fishing in the endless rivers and streams is on each day’s after-work playlist.

The resort is a beautiful mix of the old and new… a Frank Lloyd Wright clubhouse designed in the 1920s and an unltra-modern, one-of-a-kind recreation center that opened in the fall of 2018. We have two restaurants, a 42-room boutique hotel, golf course, Spa and the aforementioned Altitude recreation center, all set on top of a mountain surrounded by Plumas National Forest. Spend the summer season with us and perhaps fall in love with the area and make it your permanent home with year-round employment. It’s happened to each of us, it could happen to you!

We’re looking for:
Kitchen
: Prep cook, line cook, sous chef
Front of house: Server, bartender, busser, runner
Hotel staff: Front desk associate

Nakoma is near Graeagle, California, 50 minutes from Reno and Truckee/Tahoe, but without Tahoe’s high rents. Centrally located in what’s known as the Lost Sierra, we’re minutes away from the renowned mountain biking of Downieville, Mills Peak and Mt. Hough. The Lakes Basin not only holds some of the best singletrack in the West, but it is home to endless hiking, dozens of alpine lakes and the spectacular Sierra Buttes. For the flyfishers, the Middle Fork of the Feather River is a short hike from the resort.

Join the Nakoma team and enjoy competitive wages and benefits as well as a lifestyle that only a mountain resort can offer. Send your resume to: jobs@nakomaresort.com.
